WR Tim
Not seen this on here. The Oxford Mail reports that the FGW were short of serviceable trains so used 57605 and 57602 on the up Night Riveriera stock to run a return trip from Paddington to Oxford instead of the booked HST. Article includes a uTube video of the set heading west out of Reading.
Guest Phil
Not gone down a storm though from what I've read online !!! I gather the train lost time causing those all important delay minutes which the contemporary railway is obsessed with, and alledgedly had fewer seats than a Turbo. At least it ran and carried passengers !!!!!
