It was taken out of use after the shed closed and within a few months the inevitable happened...1996 Edited... Hendon Junction Box? Destroyed by fire Feb 13th 1996. I'm just surprised by the picture of the Class 60 in EWS livery, I would have expected that was much more recent I think it was the lines to the quaysides that shut 20 years ago; the oil terminal was some distance from the quay, and that bit lasted longer.
