michaelp Posted November 1, 2014 Share Posted November 1, 2014 I have a problem with one of my Dapol motorised signals, when I clear the signal the motor is heard to operate but the arm stays at danger, if I move the arm up by hand it stays there and operates normally back to danger. michaelp Posted November 3, 2014 Author Share Posted November 3, 2014 Simple fix really, one side of a sort of 'V' shaped spring had detached from the small fitting on the end of the operating wire which runs up the back of the signal post to the arm. When the signal is switched to the 'off' position the above spring is under tension and allows the signal arm to move to off but because the spring was detached from the fitting the arm couldn't move to 'off' Not a very good explanation I know but if you open one of these signals up you will see what I mean.
