2A-Rail Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 A while ago I started working on a body kit of the Groudle Glen's "Polar Bear" as a personal project for my O9 layout, however I never got around to ordering the body and as such I've had the chassis sat doing nothing. Interest perked up when I saw the small Tsugawa 0-4-0 chassis popping up on the forum, so it amazed me to see that it lined up with the Groudle Glen locomotives. Whilst I await both of mine (one body in 7mm scale and one in 4mm) I've put the two up for purchase on Shapeways, as from what I can gather the only kit of them was by Saltford Models and has been out of production for a few years, shame but I'm happy as I begrudge duplicating available kits. The 7mm scale version will be built as an O9 locomotive, with the mechanism coming from a Graham Farish 61XX, and the 4mm scale one will be OO9 using the Tsugawa chassis.
