cromptonnut
Don't know if any of the Skytrex stuff might work for you? Other options are available http://www.ogauge.co.uk/7124-gwr-brick-platform-facing-amp-paving_p36616.aspx
Derbys65
Cheers for that crompton but thats just the platform facing not the actual platform, thanks for your reply though

two tone green
I have used these on my layout, very happy with them http://www.crossinggate.co.uk/
Derbys65
Thanks guys, two tone are they only platform edging too ?, doesnt say full platform, seems both these companies are just the platform edging so I assume make the base from a suitable size timber
two tone green
I used a combination of a solid wood former that the edging and paving fits to and also a self made honeycomb arrangement. again using the edging and paving. Ready made platforms to the shape and length to your design could well be very rare unless they are straight and you match the track plan to the ready made platform. Kev_Lewis
Tower Models appear to still have stocks of the Hornby O gauge resin platform sections and ramps.

chaz
I made a goods yard platform for Dock Green from foamboard. Strips of the stuff stuck on edge for the sides and cross supports. The top surface is also foamboard. I stuck plastic brick sheet to the sides with TimeBond and planked the top surface with strips cut from 0.8mm ply' glued down with "sticky" PVA. If you didn't want a timber top surface you could use fine grit wet and dry paper to represent tarmac. Chaz
