hartleymartin
Is anyone here able to draw up a set of replacement bufferbeams to suit the Hornby terrier with the buffers lowered to the correct height which xan then be produced by shapeways? Please?

backofanenvelope
Why don't you have a go yourself using Sketchup (Free download) and then you will be able to use it for future projects you may come up with.
Multiple identity account
Sketchup is dead easy... I took just 3 weeks to learn it myself with much outsider help and just a bit of reference from RMweb. But uf you still want a replacement bufferbeam I will be delighted to help you out (though I have no idea what is wrong with the Hornby one)

Quarryscapes
Hi Martin, I replied to your request via shapeways PM. If anyone has a spare bufferebeam it would be easy to knock up a model. I've already made a few Hornby replacement bits - like the Dean Goods Smokebox door I broke when removing it! Alan
hartleymartin
My main issue is location. I'm in Sydney, Australia so I'm about as far away from the prototype as you can get!
Multiple identity account
Martin,If you have the Hornby model with you right now then a few detailed images and basic dimensions is all I need to help you out.
