Andy Y
I've had a report that a trader who will be at Model Rail Scotland has received a telephone call offering accommodation which sounds pretty much like the scam that arose around Warley last year. I would suspect these scammers identify key exhibition venues and look who's on the exhibitors/traders lists and it's then easy enough to find a number. Be vigilant; maybe obtain some details if you can and pass on to the police.

Andy Y
We've had a report that a trader attending Ally Pally had an approach from one of these scammers. It seems to happen at a lot of trade shows outside the hobby so it's worth being vigilant.
