BodminJunction
I have seen several post lately about weathering so I thought I'd share my first efforts, only had my airbrush a month to 6 weeks, so still getting used to using it, I have watched several videos on youtube noticeable Richard from Everard Junction and had loads of advice from Terry at Glebe Road Junction, and like a few people on this site apprehensive about using it on my actual loco's and rolling stock. But as you can see from results it's not difficult, I used a dual action gravity fed airbrush, with 50/50 thinners railmatch enamel paints frame dirt, sleeper grime and roof dirt, and used light coats and built up the layers slowly, as you can see I have also used the airbrush on the track and it makes a huge difference. Im pleased with the results I've got and encourage anyone to have a go, it really makes the difference, so have ago you will surprise your self.
