2A-Rail
With the Talyllyn Railway celebrating their 150th anniversary in the new year, I thought I'd make a start on my build of Talyllyn number 1. However mine is slightly different as it is based on a proposed design the railway looked into.Built by Kerr Stuart in 1913 to replace work undertaken by the two Fletcher Jennings designs, the railway were satisfied with the locomotive and scrapped the previous pair as they were deemed to be life expired. Please note that the above is total fiction. I'm merely using parts from the spares box, a spare printed body and a minitrix chassis to make an what-if locomotive. 2A-Rail
Incredibly cruel close ups that show off my poor painting skills, model is only 60mm long in the flesh from buffer to buffer though. Still some work left to do but it's almost done. Johnny
2A-Rail
Anyone got any details on Talyllyn pre preservation livery? Will be painting this model to represent roughly 1920-1940 so a rough representation is all I'm after. Johnny
