noctilux2 Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Whilst having built a number of layouts of less than 5' sq, this is my first venture with an APA box. I was lucky enough to acquire one before IKEA discontinued them. I have added a false floor in order to accommodate both point motor depth & a foreground stream. Basic scenery has recently been completed but the over bright grass will be heavily toned down. Access to a "fiddlestick", yet to be built is via the RHS where a scenic block is to be added. The joint between the box & stick will be via a section of Fleischmann adjustable track which we use very successfully on our club modular N gauge layout. Just the one 009 loco at present, a 3D CAD variant on a Kato tram chassis. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
