stewartingram Posted January 30, 2015 Share Posted January 30, 2015 I've recently acquired a Peter K etched kit, for a M&GN coach. I have no info on the prototype and wonder if anyone can assist? The paperwork with the kit includes a letter from Peter K, which describes it as "M&GN old stock all 3rd", a 4wh vehicle. It also refers to a similar GER all 3rd - would the kit make up into that instead? (It does list the differences in detail between the two, suggesting the body is the same). The drawings enclosed (from the M&GN Circle) show both a "M&GNJR small stock 3rd" & a "M&GN small stock composite". How long did these coaches remain in service, what numbers did they carry, what liveries etc? Just wondering what to build it as, I have on the go a GE Y6 tram loco and a pair od D&S W&U coaches, probably to be finished in GE livery, so might build this one to a similar age as a "preserved" train.
