morning whilst reading an old RAIL mag it mentioned that:

At the end of 1988, a clear out of 250 non passenger carrying bogie vehicles saw BR dispose of the following vehicles to Booth Roe Metals of Rotherham:

Tinsley: 80520, 80632, 93322, 93423.

anyone any ideas what these vehicles were, as I had also read that Wath's breakdown train went to Tinsley after it and I wondered ith ese were the vehciles??

80520, 80632 - BR 57'0" BG vans.

93322, 93423.- BR 57'0" GUV vans, ( formerly 86322 & 86423 but renumbered to prevent confusion with Cl.86 locos)

These would have been their running stock numbers, if they had formed part of a breakdown train I would have expected them to have been renumbered into the Departmental number series e.g. DB97xxxx.
