jesmondcoedway
Just got round to test running a railcar I bought from Heljan at Warley last year. Whilst front running lights are working OK, there are no red rear lights visible. Is this correct, or do I have a faulty one?
RMweb Gold Market65 Posted February 18, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 18, 2015 Hi, jesmondcoedway. I think that the model is correct, in that the prototypes carried oil tail-lamps on the rear to indicate 'train complete'. Have just, literally, tested mine on the layout, and it, quite correctly, is showing no rear tail lights. I hope that this is of some help. All the best, Market65. dibber25
Thanks for your reply, over the water in beautiful Beverley. Will live with it! Yes, the AC railbus did not have red rear lights. It carried an oil tail lamp, although there were red slides which could be fitted over the marker lights. I don't think they were ever used.
