Timeshift - The Nation's Railway: The Golden Age on BBC4

I'm slightly surprised that no one has mentioned this excellent programme that was on BBC4 recently. It was all about the BTC films that were made about BR, particularly the post Modernisation Plan period. It had some excellent footage of the prototype APT and HST and it featured someone called Kit Spackman (no, I've never heard of him either).

Unless anyone knows otherwise, I don't think it was a repeat as I've never seen it before, but you can still catch it on iPlayer.

Oh and there is a rather odd scene where a businessman is openly reading a copy of Playboy while sat on a Blue Pullman?!!
