Sam '43003' Tanner
This spur from the MoD site at Pig's Bay, Shoeburyness seem to prove ideal for a small space inglenook layout.. Prototype Inglenook S'all I got on this for now! Should anybody care to add, please do. B)
DavidB-AU
There is (sort of) another one closer to Shoeburyness. Also a tuning fork and another bit of small layout inspiration on the same line. Cheers David
clemf
Thers lots of possibilities there. That piece of track would have originally gone to one of the gun batteries. Not sure whats there now but I could find out as my son works there, (unless its a hush hush bit then I can't tell you ). There have been railways and tramways there for the last hundred years. Its worth having a look at a book "Guns and Gunners of Shoeburyness" I think its called by en ex major who was based there and still keeps an archive on site, nice guy and approachable for info and possibly even access to the archives. I had a fancy to do a layout based on the site so I would have an excuse to build a railgun.
Sam '43003' Tanner
Time to work on those small, obscure shunters then. B)
DavidB-AU
If a model included the storage area it could be an excuse to run almost anything in almost any livery with stock going on and off lease. Like Long Marston only smaller. Cheers David

Sam '43003' Tanner
and another bit of small layout inspiration on the same line. Cheers David Just looking at this one again; It looks like this section is on it's own baseboard. Bunker's a backdrop, bring the tree's a bit closer for a scenic break and your onto a winner I think.
