Black Sheep
I've borrowed a second hand dynamis from my local model shop, we were playing about with it in the shop checking it worked correctly but now I'm home I'm struggling to get it working. I've got a brand new chip in my Farish DP1 which is sat on the track with lights on - so we have power. I've done a factory reset on the dynamis and deleted the old loco library and tried to programme the loco have gone through the following steps: Menu Program Write address on service track I change address to 1 'programing' lights flash 'no loco available' What am I doing wrong? I've also borrowed a DCC fitted loco, however I can't seem to write to this loco or work out what it's address is. Thanks
Black Sheep
The lights on DP1 change when I apply power but the loco doesn't move If i swap direction and apply power the tail lights and leading lights increase brightness as if it were setting off stop and swap direction and the lights swap ends but still no movement from the loco chip was a new Bachmann chip
Black Sheep
So, the saga continues went into the model shop today, chap in covering for the owner who left me to play with the test track Loco runs happily, can turn lights on and off plugged dynamis in and nothing, not an electronic sausage. Wondering if it's the cable...
