David C
I want to update the insignia on a Fleischmann BR98 from DR to DB to suit a planned layout set in the 1950s. I've discovered Andreas Nothaft's site and the only steam loco numbers he offers are silver on black (and he doesn't do any for a class 98). Is this correct? I always thought the numbers were white .... at least, that's what I remembered from wandering around Germany in the early 1970s. Of course, my memory may be at fault ..... Â Also, does anyone produce DB passenger green, either as paint or an aerosol? The ideal would be a match with one of the Halfords cans .... Â Thanks in advance. brigo
DB passenger green is RAL-6020 Chromoxydgrun.  Revell do a RAL-6020 "Dark Green" as 32363 silk-matt enamel or as 36363 silk-matt acrylic.  Useful site for German railway colours http://www.bahnstatistik.de/RAL.htm#1  Brian G. RMweb Premium Bernard Lamb Posted March 13, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 13, 2015 Try TL-Modellbau. Sorry, this computer does not like to post links. Last time I wanted some loco numbers I used them and they did do a white. Bernard
adecoaches26point4
Coaches in the early 1950's were RAL 6007 bottle green. Have used paints from this UK company http://www.ralcolours.co.uk/index.html
