loop module for Dynamis

 Looking for information on a  auto reverse loop module that operates  with  a Bachmann Dynamis

LDT make a module which PRE-DETECTS the end the train is, and therefore switches the polarity of th ereversing section without creating a short circuit.

This follows or parallels Massoth (Electronics for G Scale) who have had this design available for a year or so. (Ideal with higher large scale currents!)

 

(This requires a small extra, 'sensing' section of 5cm or so, at either end of the reversing section)

There would appear to be no need any more for the short-circuit type to remain in use! .... I have one of the Massoth awaiting ftting, and am planning on getting some of these kits to replace the remainder.  .... Update: I HAVE now ordered 3 kits (direct - not listed at uk stockists today)

There's any number of them, probably solid state rather than relay is better for the Dynamis, the solid state ones have faster reaction times. Frog Juicer is probably the better known of the short detecting/polarity reversing modules a Dual would work well for a reversing loop, based on user feedback.
