Quarryscapes
What a long winded process! Download Export STL plugin for sketchup and that's exporting covered. Open in netfabb and run auto repairs, export the repaired file. Far quicker.
backofanenvelope
Thanks for that Quarryscapes.
Multiple identity account
I do the same as Quarryscapes...If for some reason the plugin doesn't work then I just export it. Open in MeshLab to convert it into an STL file and then fix it in NetFabb.
Quarryscapes
The one thing to watch out for is if you use components you can end up with two faces overlapping which can throw netfabb off, where it will look fine in Netfabb but once on shapeways for example it will be missing both faces!
