RMweb Gold uk_pm Posted April 26, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 26, 2015 I managed to have a resistor meltdown yesterday whilst fitting a DCC decoder to my Heljan 47 and fried three of the four sets of LEDs responsible for the lights. The red lights are beautifully moulded so as to incorporate the lens which is visible on the front of the loco. Does anyone know where I can source suitable spares (or is it a case of filing down LEDs obtained from the usual sources)?

Vin
Hi, Rapid electronics sell them at 19p each. You'll need the Kingbright 2mm through panel type and then round the tops with some 800grit wet and dry paper. Hope this helps. Regards Vin
