Received my first 2 O Gauge kits yesterday, 9 days transit from the UK to my home in the US. Well wrapped, with plenty of padding in the kit boxes. The boxes are large for the actual kit parts, but suspect they will safely hold the completed piece of rolling stock. Kits are complete except for wheels, per usual with UK rolling stock kits. He does tell you which Slater's wheel sets are appropriate. Dr. Dan Garrett, the owner/creator, is most helpful, and responds promptly to email inquiries. He has helped greatly in filling in some of the gaps (a few of many) in my knowledge. All of his kits are focused on the SER, and pre-grouping, so I realize that is a limiting factor regarding the potential market, but I just wanted to share a pleasant buying experience from a small supplier. I hope to start on the kits this weekend, and will do a build thread, perhaps in either the Pre-Grouping sub forum, or the 7MM + one. Jim F Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
