Soar Valley Model Railway Club are pleased to announce. Further to the clubs trials and tribulations over the past 2yrs. They have found a superb new venue at :- Loughborough Grammar School LE11 2DU for their, Annual “HEART OF THE MIDLANDS” Model Railway Exhibition on the Weekend of the 5th and 6th. September. This is a Family friendly Exhibition and is a Great Day Out What ever the Weather. With over 20 Quality layouts and 24 varied traders. Demo stands, Societies and clubs, the venue is disabled friendly, with plenty of free disabled parking and public and a refreshment area with hot and cold food. We have again held prices to a reasonable level. This established Exhibition is one of the Best Provincial Exhibitions, Now it’s 31st year, known for its friendly atmosphere and welcoming approach. The venue consists of three spacious halls and entrance / circulating areas, in the Edward Hodge building. We hope to have continuity here for future events. The club meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we have Exhibition layouts in “O”, “00” x 4, N, “009” Gauges, Not forgetting our Thomas Layout with which we raise money for our designated Charity RAINBOWS Children’s Hospice.
