SRman Posted May 30, 2015 Share Posted May 30, 2015 It's essentially an updated version of the Triang one. The body moulding is the same but has separate handrails and horns. The motor bogies and motors have undergone several transformations over the decades, since the original with cast bogies came out in 1966. The latest DCC-ready releases should have a low-profile 5-pole motor, which should run very smoothly, but may have traction tyres (can anyone confirm or deny that, please?).If you have a look at this thread - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/99366-triang-class-35-enhancements/&do=findComment&comment=1901667 - there are some ideas on what can be done to the older models.
