Some details in English about the locomotives are available from the Siemens website. Drilling down in to the information available on that site I found an interesting section about a crash-absorbing replaceable front end, and crumple-zone buffers. The curious thing though is that although the literature is available in English, none of the marketing seems to be directed towards United Kingdom or Eire.
