birch1
Hi all I thought I would share with you my first two wagon projects, two Parkside Dundas Rudd kits. I wanted something a bit different to the Hornby Model, so had a go at the first and have liked kit building ever since... 1. This wagon was my first Kit build, it has standard BR engineers 'dutch' except for the ews logo's. You may notice that the paint is quite dark, that's because it is! I found a couple of photo's of the real wagon (from two different people) and for some reason it seemed to be in this darker version of the livery, can anyone shed any light on that mystery? Some weathering finished the model. 2. This wagon is mainly done, however still needs some under frame weathering and interior weathering to complete. It is a more standard example this time, the only change being the small blue panels that used to state 'Mainline' before the branding was removed by EWS
cheesysmith
Good paint job there. Painting the yellow round the raised ribs on wagons like these is always the most difficult bit.
