ianwales
Hi all Am I correct in thinking the only 4mm scale ferry wagon available that is suitible for the early 1970's is the Hornby BR one? also, I notice looking on ebay that Hornby produced these carrying white "interfrigo" livery, is this fantasy on Hornby's part or did some of these wagons actually carry this livery? jonhall
RTR in 4mm then yes, its the Hornby VIX or nothing. No the Transfesa/Interfrigo liveries are not real. There are a couple of threads on scratchbuilding ferry vans here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/892-west-end-workbench/ http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/8203-belgian-ferry-vans-on-eastern-region/ http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/21038-interfrigoferry-vans/page__p__206774__fromsearch__1#entry206774 I might start building a transfesa 'blue' at S4um. jwealleans
If you fancy a scratchbuild then these struck me as interesting subjects from the 1970s... Interfrigo Twin vans Drawings for both are available.
