Andy Y
Kent Garden Railways awarded Bachmann Retailer Of The Year It is with great pleasure that we can announce that we have awarded Kent Garden Railways the Bachmann Retailer of the Year award. The business, located in St Mary Cray on the outskirts of Orpington, was started by Andy Cottenham over 20 years ago. His well-established store has a large range of products including Bachmann Branchline, Graham Farish, Scenecraft and Woodland Scenics. As the name suggests, it also specialises in a good selection of the larger garden scales including Bachmann USA, Thomas & Friends Large Scale, Liliput G Scale, Scenecraft G scale and 16mm figures. Tony Lowe, UK Sales Manager for Bachmann Europe Plc said “Visiting Andy’s store is a worthwhile experience for whatever gauge you have an interest in, as all of your modelling needs are catered for. Andy’s knowledge and enthusiasm for all things railway is fantastic and the ranges that he holds in store give new and experienced modellers the inspiration and imagination to fulfil their modelling ideas in whatever scale they decide to follow”. MikeTrice
My favourite traditional model shop so wonderful news. Can I stress for people that are put off by their name that they do far more than just garden railways, so well worth a visit.
Silver Sidelines
I had never heard of them until I bought a Bachmann diesel two months ago. Very good service. Many thanks
sub39h
Visited their store at the beginning of June for the first time. Excellent store and not just for garden railways. Lots of back catalogue stock so may find something out of production or at more affordable prices. Well done to them. Best model shop I've visited in a while so thoroughly deserved. Torn-on-the-platform
Very well deserved! Excellent shop with prices that can rival the box shifters. Always nice to have a chat with Andy and/or his Dad about preserved railway goings on/forthcoming products etc.
