I'm so looking forward to being the guest operator (hosting club member) on "Wadebridge" at the show, John and Jerry have both let me have a turn or 2 on their other layouts that have attended, namely "Highbury Colliery", "Tucking Mill" and "Wenfordbridge Goods Depot".

As part of the exhibition's demonstration area we are pleased to say that Andy Jones, builder of 'Herstmonceux' which was best in show at Uckfield in 2014 and Manchester in 2015, will be bringing along his latest project 'Tarring Neville' as a "work in progress" for visitors to see a layout under construction. Other invited guests for the demonstration area include Roger Sawyer with his hands-on soldering demo and Cat Gibbs with her figure painting demo.

First visit to the show and enjoyed it very much, packed a lot into a small space. Very much enjoyed Sub Wealden Gypsum, Lower Shalford, Harlyn Pier and Tresparrett Wharf. Plenty of photos taken and a good few ideas taken away.

Just a big thank you to Adrian and his team for a fabulous weekend with hospitality second to none. All the Tidworth team thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope we didn't disappoint.

Couldn't agree more. As exhibitors Uckfield is one of the nicest shows to do on the circuit and we always look forward to coming back again. With plenty of guest operators on Wadebridge on the Sunday we had time for a good look around and the show was every bit as good for the visitor, some great layouts and an excellent mix of trade.

Well done to Adrian and the team, another superb show.

A rather fun weekend was had at the Uckfield show with plenty of time spent behind different layouts including Hoath Hill, and Tidworth which is one of my favourite layouts. So in alphabetical order I present (most of) Uckfield 2016!

Hi Gary - thanks for posting the pictures.

The ones you are missing are Wadebridge (2mm/ft finescale) and Tresparrett Wharf (S).

Also Hoath Hill / Sub Wealden Gypsum Co. is 3mm/ft finescale not TT.

Looks like I managed to avoid your camera this year LOL

I think that's you in the general overhead shot of the Weald Hall on Saturday morning.

But so as you don't feel left out ......
