james2004k
Hi all, Received my class 68 this morning and was pondering over the lighting being everywhere... Although I would like to say what a beautiful model it is! I found to have the cab lights to come on with the halo's there is a need for 2 trace cuts and 2 re-wire. 10 minute job to be far. ESU LokPilot or LokSound settings after this mod. *** I do not accept any blame if this messes up your loco, I have personally done this to mine *** After this, I can turn F0 on and the halo's and cab lights (directional) will be on when stationary, When moving the headlights are on (cab and halo turned off) F3 will turn the tail lights on (directional) Although a bit more room would've been nice. JSpencer
Hmm... it seems like your two open copper wires go somewhere, in another sound fitting 68 thread, someone else's had one copper wire which went no where.
james2004k
The copper wire goes to 2x MOSFET's, which the middle of the copper cable is on the ground tab. This is needed to allow the use of Aux 3/4 on ESU LokPilot and LokSound chips
