Problems posting and uploading images from Windows

I’m having trouble posting and uploading images.

 

I have the same problem in both Chrome and Edge on Windows 10.

 

It seems that I can post more reliably from my iPad, but typing and accessing my images is more tedious so I’d prefer to post from my Windows machine.

 

The site seems to have improved after the recent maintenance work but are there still some ongoing problems?

 

(I wonder if it’s related to DNS caching? Hmmm...)

Bingo! Fixed it!

 

I suspect that the recent maintenance on RMWeb involved changing IP addresses of the server(s) and Windows was probably caching old addresses and their DNS/routing info.

 

For anyone else having similar problems, open a console window and execute these commands:

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

I have been trying to upload a pic for two weeks from different devices and keep getting this error message which itself is not true as I have wasted many ninutes writing mush more than 3 characters

The following errors were found

You must enter a message larger than 3 characters.

This personal message has not been sent

 

I just tried Harlequin's fix but same result
