Xerces Fobe2
I am assume you are referring to a Tenshodo spud and the answers is yes. http://www.metromodels.net/tenshodo_spud_dcc_conversion_a.jpg Xerces Fobe
noiseboy72
I find the easiest way to cut the motor - pickup link is with a brand new Stanley knife. It needs lots less pressure than a scalpel, just a gentle rocking motion. Apply minimum heat to the pickup strip when soldering and be as quick as you can as the plastic is very soft. Other than that, no real problem. !
AMJ
The ones that I have done rather than removing the motor pickup link I have bent it up between the wheels and used as a solder tag for the red & black wires.
