    On a lighter note the Highfield Lane overbridge in Maidenhead has reopened for traffic and is far more pleasing to the eye than it's rotting predecessor!

Marylebone has been already mentioned and look at it now a very busy and important link with the Chilterns and beyond! Even the burghers at DaFT do not go down tthis misguided busway anymore!

    An NSE car stop sign at Burnham Bucks however it might well have gone by now as the GWML electrification work progresses.

    Harking back to the WCML electrification even the DC Lines signals to be fitted with mesh screens to protect from from possible AC imterference.

    The West Coast mainline electrification in the 1960's appeared to go go logically, smoothly and timely than the GWML scheme now! I guess there were no boxes to tick etc, years ago - progress?
