John_Hughes
After a fellow club-member sadly recently died I came into possession of some of his models, including a rather nicely-made-up plastic K's kit for a GWR Siphon. It has 6 wheels, two doors each side and the roof has the 'flatter' profile (i.e. not a simple arc); I have a suspicion that it's a hodge-podge of more than one diagram, but I'm not really that much 'up' on them. Specifically, can anyone tell me what diagram it represents (if any), when they were introduced and how long they lasted, and sample GW numbers (and BR numbers if applicable). Thanks a million! Miss Prism
John - it's diagram O1. Built between 1887 and 1893. The vast majority were condemned in the mid '30s, with only one just surviving WWII by a few months. Numbers: 697-746; 951-995; 1991-2000.

Miss Prism
Err, yes, sorry Paul, I did initially think it was on O2 when I PM'ed you, but on checking the end view, the K's kit is actually an O1. The confusion arises because the single-arc roof O2 predates the 3-arc roof O1.
