random
A GWR Saint and GWR Bulldog??? that seem to come from the same hand as Bertiedog's Jinty. Same motor, same very finescale wheels. Highest construction standards. Mainly nickel silver construction with some brass. 4-4-0 has solid brass wheels, Saint has Romford or similar wheels. Tender wheel inner frames are brass U shaped channel.
OldSutt
Nice GWR engines. You had me going for a minute, giving the second as a Bulldog and not a Duke/Dog class. The giveaway was hovering the mouse over you piccy.
random
I have to admit to being no expert on GWR 4-4-0s and seem to have referred to it as two different classes maybe neither correct. I am wondering if the 4-4-0 is in fact a Dukedog class. The model caries the number 3200. The wheels on the Saint are mazak while those on the 4-4-0 are brass. Il Grifone
The wheels appear to be the same make as the Jinty. The nuts appear the same. They are too fine for Romford and have the correct number of spokes. Romford wheels are overgenerous in this department. (Possibly originally designed for H0?) hayfield
My Saint is similar to yours Body looks quite like yours Chassis design is also similar More modern motor Thoughts on mine is that its a Jamieson, sadly it came without a tender and has a whitemetal one at the moment. I should get around to sorting out better pickups and a decent set of bogie wheels.
