I have been back through all 10 pages of this section, but to no avail.
I remember reading somewhere on here about lamp colours - what date did they change over from red to white cases?
And clear lenses for front and read lenses for Toads and passenger vehicles at the rear?

The circular from Collett announcing the change from red to white for the bodies of head & tail lamps was dated 22 December 1936. The change was to be gradual with the current stock to be used up. All new lamps & repaired lamps would be white. During the transition period sheds were to ensure that engines of passenger & auto trains were provided with lamps of one colour (he didn't seem so concerned about goods trains). I'm sure I've seen photos of 'mixed' lamps but I can't find any a
