blueeighties
I spotted some transfer sheets on a stand at a show earlier this Year, consisting of raised rivet detail. Handy that I thought, but no use for them. And now, surprise surprise, I need some! Anyone know where I can obtain some? Ideally looking for 0 gauge. bubbles2
I used Archer transfer rivets on this, I'm happy with the results, sorry I don't have a picture after painting. blueeighties
Thank you for posting that, looks fantastic. Is there a UK supplier of Archers products?
fender
Historex look like they do them: http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxsearchresults.php?SupplierCode=AT&GrpKey=&DscKey=&SearchData=&ComingSoon=&PageNo=
jwealleans
One or two 7mm modellers I know reckon it's cheaper to order them direct. Service from Historex has always been very good, though.

Talltim
There's also these ones. http://www.micromark.com/O-scale-decals-with-raised-3D-rivets-and-other-surface-details,9967.html I've not used either so I can't comment on relative merits, but they do have different patterns. peter220950
DCC Supplies also stock Archers transfers, and are often at shows, such as Warley, so you might get them without postage costs if you're not in a hurry. http://www.dccsupplies.com/search/results/?search=archer
RMweb Premium CloggyDog Posted October 22, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 22, 2014 I've always ordered direct from Archers - quick turnaround and it usually works out a couple of quid cheaper than buying from one of their UK dealers, even including postage from the US.. They are very, very good indeed and the range of options (spacing, sizing) and variety (louvres, checkerplate, weld seams) is ever growing. I have also tried the MicroMark ones - while they are cheaper, they are not as good. The basic rivet rows are just about acceptable (but are flatter and less consistent than Archers, plus a limited selection of spacing) but the other bits like grilles or louvres are, imho, rubbish - full of resin 'flash' and overrun. blueeighties
Thank you all...extremely helpful I'll place an order direct then!
DavidB
I have also tried the MicroMark ones - while they are cheaper, they are not as good. The MicroMark carrier film is also much thicker - the Archer version disappears completely with Carrs Transfix, but the MicroMark version remains stubbornly visible (in my experience). David.
