    Blizzard conditions here in bonny Scotland, snow on top of ice- lovely. Need to go out for provisions though, bad planning but winter tyres help.

      Out for provisions!!..the Model rail Scotland stalwarts all made it bar one pussy who shall remain nameless to Bannockburn for the pre show meeting.

      And I don't have winter tyres.

      Got stuck twice (despite 4WD) on way back from Skye in blizzard conditions just west of Dalwhinnie due to other vehicles stuck. Last car to exit past closed snow gates. Pretty extreme. Better once on A9 but very slow going.

      Been out and found main roads fine but our road is still 1'' thick pure ice.
