Those people in the first pic will be 10ft under water when the tides in - it look to me as though there will not be much beach to walk on if those Tides keep rising - Thanks for the continued updates David, very Interesting.

Thanks Dave. I see what you mean about the footbridge + extension. There's something about the North Woolwich line that I find fascinating, Silvertown and the tramway in particular. I don't know why, because I've never spent any time in the area. I can lose myself for ages on the disused stations site and because of the internet, I no longer keep any railway books for research. That said, there's nothing better than settling down in a comfy chair and having a good read. I used to have a selection of the Middleton books covering South London... West Croydon - Wimbledon etc. I really must try and get hold of a copy of the North Woolwich one. Fascinating stuff.

I had so many railway books that I had to move most of them on, I kept the ones that I thought I would need the most but always seem to need the ones I got rid of Hahaha ... That's life
And I have always found that when you want to buy the book again that you sold, its always 3 times the price !!!
