Hey
Its good to catch up on this thead. The layout is coming along brilliantly. Love the buildings as they come together. There is something very satisfying about scratch built scenes.
Thanks for all the photos!

Damn, that's a real pain! I'f you'd forgotten to test the gauge then fine, but having to think of testing wagons placed on the tracks different ways is just bad luck you've been caught out
Shame as I rather like your current bridge face, but hopefully not too much of a pain to replace it. I'll be taking some extra time when it comes to fixing my portal down now!
Progress since my last post looks fantastic!

Aways great to catch up with this thread! I'm loving some of the vehicles on your layout. I dunno why I just seem to never find anything suitable for N. That crane for instance, looks brilliant!

Hi
Really love the pics on this page!
The modelled light really brings the (very well modelled) scene to life!

I love these three shots, the first one in particular! I think little more could be done to make it more realistic.

You certainly have a skill for the minute details! The inside of the shed is amazing!
Very inspiring work indeed!

I can tell this is a big build from all the internal shots, but to see the overview from the outside of the building really puts it into perspective! You've done a superb job so far, and I think any exhibition would be grateful of your layout being on show!
Top work indeed.

Fantastic work! Really does get me thinking for my large n guage layout plans...you've put a spanner in the works because now I want a coal mine with 56's n MGR's!
As if it wasn't bad enough that I'm off for a weekend at the pontypool and blaenavon railway this weekend, which I'm sure will lead me to the Big pit for some photos.
Thanks for reminding me how much I love coal mines!
Will be following your progress for sure!

I'm always impressed at how fast the layout rises from the bare boards into something so detailed and authentic!
