  2. Thank you Phil, Poor connections - the bane of us railway modellers! I’ll beef things up and report back. Roland
  3. Hello all, I’ve an unusual situation. When testing a section of track (actually a point frog), the meter reads 15.9vac. Put a loco on that section of track and it’s dead. Not a short, just no power. Meter reads less than 1vac while loco is on the track. Lift the loco and 15.9vac returns. Can anyone tell me what could be happening please? Roland
  4. Hello Banburysaint. There is on street parking but it is limited. Parking can usually be found in NYMR car park. Their station is just around the corner from the show venue. Co-op and Lidl supermarkets also have a car parks. They are both within short walking distance. Don't forget to come and see us (Yorkshire Pennines) while at the show. We're on the top floor. Roland
  5. Looking forward to the show. Yorkshire Pennines has evolved.. (Photo courtesy of Steve Flint)

  11. I see Mike, you're taking North of England Line to this Anniversary Show. What is it now? 14 Best in Show awards - are you going for 15? See you there ....
  12. Not long to go now, Mike. The pressure is on but we're looking forward to exhibiting our latest layout - Yorkshire Pennines. Still having a few last minute problems, as you do with a new layout. Steve decided to install the latest upgrade of Railroad & Co - v9. He's having second thoughts now that the show is just around the corner! We'll get there. Nothing like a deadline to focus the mind ...... See you there.
  13. All very interesting BUT is it possible to turn the active drive braking off? Why you ask? I useRailRoad & Co software via Digitrax to run my layout. RR&Co likes to know where exactly locos stop when it decelerates them to a halt. But active drive lets the locos coast for ages..... Until you press F2 That's difficult for the computer. See my problem? Roland
  14. We know it takes a lot of effort to make a success of a show held by a club with only a few members. Your past records speak for themselves. Keep up the good work Mike. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
