At least you guys can get an appointment, my wife has been trying for two weeks and is constantly referred to the on line system which shows either none available or that “ your surgery does not offer this service”.
meanwhile today they sent me an appointment which I neither requested nor wanted, to add insult to injury they did not tell me when the appointment was/is.
I used to be a GP and find the current approach by practices to be inc omprehensible. Actually there aren’t enough to go round and the current contract is a joke.

Check out www.3SMR.co.uk
They offer TT wheels down to 12.5mm diameter, and Romford-style square-ended axles.
In my experience their wheels are pretty good although the have abs centres and need care, the square axle holes give a pretty good positive lock and they do tun true I think the profile is to rp25, work in em gauge certainly.

Depends what it will look like when you have finished. My experience of this is a number of b…d up chimneys so they are the predominant content of my spares box!

I too have been looking at the CDC resin body locos and options for chassis. There was an article about fitting the SE finecast J69 chassis to one of the bodies in the GE Society News I think by Paul Goldsmith. I am reviewing options as I can see a point where I retire the J70s and replace with J67s and 69s in the style of the Kelvedon and Tollesbury line if I can get some W&U Eveleigh kits later this year. I would really like some of the four wheeled stock rather than bogie coaches, I know they were withdrawn by my period but the six wheel versions are not available.
can be done s long as you can accept drive on middle axle and reduce suspension , I did one it has effectively a rigid chassis bu with sideplay it negotiates most point work I have run it on 9EM by the way)

That's because the politicians change but the Civil Servants don't....
And haven't for centuries. Just like the church.
arguably that could give the benefit that at least someone in the department knows how things work. our current chancellor of the exchequer was health minister , and has qualifications for neither role. at least the recently resigning defence minister was in the services.

In fact numbers of Swifts (and Swallows + House Martins) have sadly been on the decline for a number of years. Netting on the continent is one reason and being blasted out of the sky by loony tunes in France & Spain is another.

Looking thjrough the thread above mentioned maybe best to use the various fittings in the Gibson kit(or indeed the Nucast kit) and scratchbuild the rest. Maybe cdc or someone would do a print.but what chassis would you then use.
The outlay would be mind boggling. I guess.

Ithink it is. The other thing to try is one of those impregnated jewellery wipes. they are gentler
