We have a healthy amount of 37/4s planned with some more 47s also to add to the list. On top of which a good out source of members and friends locos to add to the fleet. I think it's safe to say we should have a good variety of Scottish traction!

Morning all. After a few years being dormant on here I thought I'd share my latest and biggest project yet!
My dad and I have set out (with the help of a few good friends) to build a model of GM as the place stood in 1988. Paul at Streetscene models has built all the buildings so far to an amazing standard as always! The track work is modified Peco with altered sleeper spacing and tiebars added to the points.
The plan is to include the whole shed area as can be seen in the pics, the Marcorfts wagon repair sidings that ran next to the sheds though condenced in space. Fouldubs junction and the mainline back past the sheds and sidings. This should enable us to run full length trains when we have space to erect the full length fiddle yards. But for the most it will be up at the club house which gives us 40ft to play with so we will still get the layout up with shorter fiddles.

SLJR models. Just to clarify all of the bad mouthing and damn right rudeness you put out publicly towards Heljan on their announcement on their own thread after publicly claiming to be a main part of the LLC class 50 wasn't damaging? I bet to differ. Most of us following the saga watched your foul mouthed tirades unfold and it was a disgrace. No wonder you were dropped. What has your past life got to do with starting production of a model? That to me just seems like a get out "give sympathy vote". The dealings I've had with you certainly show you in a less than kind light and to say your not a nasty person is laughable when all you do is bully and get on the offensive when your view isn't jumped too.
Admit it. You tried taking LLC for a ride. You were lazy about it and even managed to get them excluded from certain preservation groups through your bully like attitude. You have NONE but YOURSELF to blame for your own down fall. Sadly now you've left a wreck of mess and big holes in communications in Steve S networks. All just to better your own position in the modelling world.
Grow up. Accept you messed up.

Howdo all,
Im part owner of the layout of Glasgow Queen Street '88, that can be found in the Layout topic section of the forum.
The beast will be 12ft long by 3ft wide for the scenic section, and specificly modeled in the year of 1988, which is when the team feals was the best and final year for propper traction up there!
Also as a side project im planning to build a model of the now long gone Shandon Station that ust to sit just below Garelochhead on the line to Oban And Fort Bill and such. But more on this later

Nothing much to report lately. We have been cracking on with the wiring on board one, board two will follow next. Board 3 is near enough built now which will lead to more track laying soon!
