Hi, Couldn't see the first photo when I replied previously. Yes, this is August Marshall the coal merchant. He had a business in Bridge St, Gainsborough, a coal yard by the railway line at Northolme (later the Co-op bagging plant and then the dairy) and lived in Lea Rd until his death in 1921. Hi, There was an August Marshall coal merchant in Gainsborough in the late 18th/ early 19th century, don't know if that is the same. Would it be possible to see the photo from which you worked please? AP
