  1. Let hope you are right Traksy!
  2. Due to the success of the Bachmann Class 85, it's high time Hornby retooled the 86,87 and 90 classes - they would sell like hot cakes!!! Come on Hornby, if not Bachmann should expand into this market. Here's hoping anyway!
  3. Sorry should have posted the pics! Here they are.......
  4. Ive just had my BR Blue 85 back from RBW, had it weathered just like the real loco's prior to withdrawal. Can highly recommend Richies work. It really makes the loco look realistic, just hoping that more ACs are developed in the coming year to the same high standards as the Bachmann model.
  5. Some great pics, crying shame they are not still around! At least we have a cracking model one from Bachmann..... Role on more ACs from them as the bar has now been well and truly raised. Judging by the interest in this model surely a new cl 86,87 and 90 woud be very popular!
  6. No roof tanks I notice, for what reason/purpose did they serve?
  7. Loving the weathering pics, it's just inspiring me to weather mine upon its imminent arrival next week -fingers crossed! Just ordered some Bachmann Mk1s to run behind.
  8. Hate to admit it folks but the 85 needs some serious weathering including the front and roof areas, which is in keeping with the real locos, I'm too young to remember the pristine ones!! Still waiting for mine to be delivered, then will get it professionally weathered I think.
