Hi folks Yes the MN kit looks great too. It may be a bit of a learning curve for me but there's no real rush. I've taken the advice above and bought a good book on the prototype - lots to learn! I'll be sure to post some progress when something substantial has happened.. T

Hi folks I've recently got hold of an ACE Merchant Navy kit. I've built a couple of smaller locos in the past, but I was wondering if anyone has come across a build thread or anything in the modelling press that may offer me some additional guidance? thanks, T
