Hello all,
so, some time ago I bought an almost complete LNER Coronation set, in oo gauge, I think it's Ian Kirk or mailcoach. Beautiful model, but it's missing one key part, basically one of the articulated bogies has gone astray, it was missing when I bought it. At the time I thought I could simply replace it with a Hornby or Bachmann replacement. My questions comes in many parts I guess:
1. are the articulated bogies the same length as standard bogies (i.e. 8'6" centres) or were they longer?
2. if the answer to 1 is "the same length", can I use Hornby Gresley or Bachmann Thompson bogies? I've also seem isinglass do (or did) a 3D printed articulated set, so I could probably see if I cna source a spare from them
Thanks in advance for all or any help. Keep modelling!

Eurostar looks good as a cheap (presumably) way of extending the rake. How will you attach the bogie to the modified end? Would converting 1st class coaches be easier as you won’t be left with part of the grill?

Hello all,
I am looking for some information; I’m trying to source a replacement double chimney for a Hornby Duchess. I’ve done some searching online but the closest I can find is either for a Royal Scot, an A3 or a 9F basically. Does anyone know of a source for one of these?
Thanks in advance

I'm producing a similar model at the moment; do you have any good pictures of the catering vehicles? Really struggling to find photos of the TRSB

Just spotted this build @Darius43, looks amazing compared to the source material/kit. What did you use to glue the kit together with? What did yo use for filler? I have a MTK 4REP kit that I bought in the 1990s which I may tackle in the next decade, so may try and follow your process!
