Fine cutting disc in a Dremel, I think. Got to finish the 4-EPB first anyway. Speaking of which… Cheers Darius

The upholstery decals are surprisingly easy to install and are quicker and less messy than painting each individual seat. They have made the interior construction process much more fun. Cheers Darius

Slight diversion: I was looking at the MTK Bulleid 2-HAP kit and was concerned to see that the large windows to the corridor side of the driving trailer coach weren’t there. Closer perusal of the instructions revealed that you have to “carefully” cut away the aluminium between the small windows on either side of each door. Also noticed an error at the driver’s cab end of the coach - window and door openings punched in the wrong order. Closer inspection shows that there was a punched window frame in the door opening but it’s been cut out on both sides. Perhaps the previous kit owner did this and then gave up. O joy. Cheers Darius

Interior constructed. I was running short of Southern Pride seats so I made my own using strips of plasticard. The interior was airbrushed with brown enamel and the floor brush painted on grey. Upholstery decals were then applied the seats. Cheers Darius

Hi John, I use medium viscosity superglue applied to the inside surface using the end of a toothpick. Clear actuate glazing strips are fitted in short lengths. Any white “blooms” from the superglue are “removed” post fixing using Klear acrylic varnish brushed on the inner and outer surfaces of the glazing. This also clears up any scratches on the glazing surface. Cheers Darius

Hi Dave, By all means. I’ve used the MTK metal parts on the DMBSO “fattened up” with plasticard as per the MTK drawings which may not be completely accurate… Not sure if there is anything but truss frames beneath the trailer coaches. Cheers Darius
