  1. Of course you can link another 511 to any ZTC Controller. There is another way witch you may find more useful. Have a 622 remote handset, I do, If your arm wont stretch back to the 611 that is if you see what I mean.

I note that Nigel Cliffe makes comment, Moving On?  Not another ZTC Knocker are you Nigel.

  2. I have a Hornby A4 Body that has the lubricator arm attached.

I have a suitable chassis to go with it, Except. the right hand rear wheel does not have the correct crankpin.

I do have a suitable spare wheel. I have a puller to get the wheel off, But how can i be sure that the quartering will be correct. Help Appreciated. Mel.

  3. Hobbo. There's plenty of comments here for you to digest i won't add to it.

Except to say Hands On is your best option.

Trouble is where. Digitrains of Lincoln have a dedicated demo layout for you to play with.

I dont know of any others.

Digitrains attend all major shows. But difficult to discuss DCC what with all the surrounding show noise. Good Luck.

  4. My problem was getting the geometry right of track over the hinge side of my access lifting flap.

    And its on a curve.

First attempt using two pieces of track didn't work.

So using a new length of flexi I got it set right and pinned in place.

I need to cut across this join without lifting the track to do it otherwise i will be back where I started.

I have a vertical track cutter not sure that will do it. I have dremel. I dont think I could use a razor saw, no room. Any ideas any one.

You've also been unsucessful in posting without turning bold text on. Knock it off, there's no need to shout. We're here to help.

It would help us if you could say which specific items of rolling stock you are having trouble with. That way people can be more specific in their replies. Thanks.

The 363 standard is the one that has been adopted for UK outline, with the sole (and defunct) exception of ViTrains. The only example of 362 I've encountered is the sliding interface in the height-adjustable version of Roco's coupler, and they have 363 clips for fitting to the vehicle.

Having used them for near on 30 years, I'd assert that Kadee NEM coupler heads are more compliant than anything into which I've ever attempted to insert them!

That said, I dislike the mounts/pockets on RTR stock and, unless it's unduly difficult, I chop them off and fit "proper" Kadees, usually #141 or 146.
