At the end of last year, i did an exhibition, where the accommodation was 6-7 miles from the exhibition and no pubs near!!, i ask if i could book my own hotel a bit nearer the exhibition and nearer the pubs, they gave me the room price of there hotel and i footed the difference, a win win all round, maybe a good option to offer both.

Another area i've just finished is where Lakehurst yard was, it was two stub end tracks, which have change to a branch line which leads to a smaller fiddle yard and an off spot track.
Decided i need some where for my ever increasing collection of Eastern road PS2 2bay hoppers, so added a spur of the branch to a sand loader, just a few trees to replant and it's ready for service.

Been a while, but not been standing still!
Due to a major new contract with a paper mill in Maine, Reliable paper recycling building has had an upgrade, 8 spots for box car(pulp out) and a tank car unloading spot, chemicals to take the ink out of the paper, now need a rethink on op's.

Same here, even with Con-cor and Life-Like - I think all manufacturers use the NMRA standard. One thing I noticed with Athean 4 bay center flows is that Kadees are a bit low with 33" wheels but bang in with 36" wheels ( which are correct for 100t cars)
don't tell him all the secrets, we had to learn the hard way!!!😁

110 & 33"
What about axle length?
I've noticed they aren't all the same. I assumed 1" (25.4mm") was standard but some aren't!☹️
i've never had issue with axle length, but i've only replaced wheels in Athearn, Roundhouse and Walthers cars, and 110 x33" fit them all

It's little things like getting our layouts in the model mags, that make all the work we do seem worth it, well done
