Can I ask, what have you used to cover the baseboard and lay the track on, I'm thinking of building an 0 gauge test track and using cork.

Or how about a video Gilbert,

Hi Guys,
Well this is a first for me when it comes to DCC with sound, and thanks to David ( Jinty ) for the speaker and to Paul Chetter for the sound chip. I am well chuffed pardon the pun, and I am having great fun finding out what button does what.
I have the Lenz LH 90 hand set and it's not really user friendly with a newby like me, I have only worked out 8 of the functions so far,so if any kind soul could advise me of an easier handset that is compatible with the Lenz set It would be most appreciated.
Here is a quick video of what I can do at the moment, the picture quality is not that good but it's worth turning up the volume : )
Cheers,
Martyn.
Another post that deserves a superb button, brilliant work Martyn.

I don't think money is a problem, didn't they sell 'Bake off' to channel 4 for around £25 Million

Hello Gilbert, have been following for a while your photo's are so realistic it's amazing, do you by any chance have a photo of the completed layout, I have tried looking but must keep missing the page when it was completed, well there's only 570 pages to search through

Hi John
Please excuse me if I have read your post the wrong way. Do I understand correctly that you have elongated the axle hole, inside the brass bearing, to achieve the vertical movement of the axle?
Hello Sandy many thanks for the precise explanation.
Yes re above, when I've soldered the bearing in place I use a 3/16 ( if memory serves ) round chain saw file and just file about 1/2 mm off the top To give a bit of vertical movement.
Regards
John.

Hello Ken,
Silly Q re your springing method, what holds the bush in place. Being a novice In the past I have carefully elongated the bush itself once soldered in place.

I agree Peter, Mickoo's W1 build is outstanding I saw his chassis at Telford amazing, lets not forget Nick Dunhill and our own Dibateg ( Tony ) all premier league players, must feel good being in that league.
